Simon has been working at MSV since 2012

What does your day to day job include?

Managing operations for MSV’s in-house race organising division, MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR). This includes liaising with the circa 30 series/championships that we administer, as well as coordinating our large team of volunteer race officials. With MSVR running nearly 50 race meetings each year, I find myself in Race Control almost every weekend between April and November!

What’s your favourite thing about working at MSV?

The opportunities for personal development – I joined the company as an administrator in 2012, and since then I have held a number of roles with increasing responsibility and I now lead our department. I have also qualified as an International Clerk of the Course in that time and gained a huge amount of experience in event organisation. 

What’s your favourite car/bike/circuit and why?

I really enjoy the international events we run – from GT World Challenge Europe and the Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch, to the London rounds of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship - they are incredibly exciting be a part of!
