Ben recently joined MSV in 2022.

What does your day to day job include?

Day to day my role involves working with all managers at MSV, recruiting staff into their teams. Roles can vary massively, one minute I can be recruiting senior managers / engineers, the next I can be speaking to somebody about their first ever catering / hospitality role. My role also entails working with local schools and colleges to introduce students into the world of work either via work experience, apprenticeships, or part time job opportunities.

What’s your favourite thing about working at MSV?

Apart from the view out the window being pretty great! It has to be speaking to people about an industry I am passionate about. There aren’t many roles out there where you get to work in an industry that involves your hobby. As well as this, I love working with all of the different circuits and seeing how each of the circuits work in their own way to ultimately achieve the same results of putting on a great day of racing!

Finally and definitely top of the list, there’s nothing better than calling somebody up to offer them their dream job!

What’s your favourite car and circuit?

Favourite car has to be the Mercedes AMG GT R, I was lucky enough to drive one round a track not too long ago and its by far the best car I’ve ever driven, especially round a track! In a slightly more realistic world, I'd love to own a Caterham Seven 620R, just as a track day project!

I’ve been coming to Brands Hatch since I was young so it wouldn’t be right to say any other track! Although watching the opening round of the BTCC this year at Donington Park was pretty special! (Perk of the MSV Staff Pass!)
